Intake Procedures

When a man desires to become a resident at Wagner Hills there is a general procedure to follow. Although parents or counselors often call on his behalf it is expected that the individual make personal contact with us before coming. We may be able to answer your questions to some degree of satisfaction but we will ask you to come out for a first-hand look at who we are and what we do. Come and be our guest.

Once you connect with our intake department by phone we will go over our general intake procedures with you as well as ask you a few questions. We do not have a waiting list or require ‘referrals’ in order for men to come into the program. Once you make first contact with us (by phone) and we express our intake expectations to you, you will be invited out to start the program as a visitor.

The Wagner Hills Intake Program residence  is a place where you can stay and discover whether or not this is the place for you. This program will give you an opportunity to see who we are and what we offer. All new residents start with this program. After a period of time in this, program and once you feel you are ready to accept who we are and what we offer, and we agree that you could do well, then we will have you complete an application and commitment form and sign you in.

Please note, Wagner Hills Ministries is a non-smoking program. Also, we do not accept clients on the methadone maintenance program. We are not a detox facility and expects all potential residents to be physically able to fully participate in the program.
