FAQ’S
During peak season, it is usually possible to pick 5 lbs in about an hour.
We provide buckets. You are welcome to bring your own containers, but payment will be based on volume of our buckets.
You are welcome to bring children (please keep them near you!) Be respectful of other pickers, but you can run around in the open areas.
The field is flat but uneven; some customers with mobility concerns may find it challenging. There are two rows that are quite near the parking lot that we recommend for these customers.
The best time to pick is early morning or after 4 pm when some of the field is shaded by our tall evergreen trees.
You are allowed to search the field for bushes that have the most berries.
Berries ripen in waves from mid July through early August. Opening dates will be announced when berries are ready!
We will NOT have ready-picked berries available, except by emailing to get on our waiting list. There are no berries available for walk-up customers.
Blueberries do not need to be washed (but can be) and can go directly into your mouth or the freezer!
Please check our social media pages for exact opening dates, or email blueberries@wagnerhills.com for more info.
